{DIY} Palm dress

Haha I've just made this palm dress today. It hasn't finished yet but as you can see from the image, very different from the dreamy, girly dresses that I usually made. It was a challenge for the amateur like me to cut something new like this. Look sooooooooo tropical and I definitely want to go to the beach and feel summer now. The photo was designed like a campaign, lol. What do ya think?

 I’m a little small and skinny, therefore, I choose bright color and short skirt to look taller and bigger and people at least can notice that I’m there (just joking). The floral peter pan collar is made from the remaining fabric after I made the skirt, thus two of them match perfectly with each other. Feel totally comfortable in this look :X
